With over eighteen years of enterprise software application experience, John
Paglierani has a proven track record for the delivery of robust, scalable, and
easy to use products. Mr. Paglierani has been involved in the design,
management and integration of quality software applications. He has
worked on applications ranging from off-the-shelf products to large-scale web
based, all the while instituting a high standard of quality.
For the past five years, Mr. Paglierani served as Chief Architect and Director
of Engineering for Phase Forward Corporation where he oversaw the architecture
for three major product lines as well as the day to day management of Inform,
Phase Forward’s flagship product. Phase Forward is the leading provider
of data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety, offering
proven solutions in electronic data capture (EDC), clinical data management
(CDM), and adverse event reporting (AER) as either an integrated solution or as
stand-alone applications. The company had its IPO in June, 2004 and reached a
$300 million dollar valuation.
Prior to Phase Forward, Mr. Paglierani served as an architect at Perot Systems
Corporation. He was responsible for the design of the overall systems
architecture, scalibility, and rollout for several of Perot Systems’ largest
customers. He designed user friendly products, integrated customer requirements
and was instrumental in the delivery of the largest multi-vendor e-commerce web
sites.
Before Perot Systems, Mr. Paglierani was co-founder in The Mesa Group. As
a founding partner, Mr. Paglierani was responsible for developing both
Conference+ and a Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange replication engine,
JumpStart. The MESA Group was acquired by Microsoft who has subsequently
integrated the JumpStart product and other applications into the Microsoft
Exchange Server.
Mr. Paglierani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the
Wentworth Institute of Technology.
